Terms of Service

These are the general terms that apply to all work performed by Revived Home Solutions.


1. Agreement

By booking any services, paying a deposit, or allowing work to begin, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.


2. Our Obligations

  • We are a properly registered business in the Province of Ontario
  • We carry appropriate liability insurance
  • We will supply all necessary materials, tools, labour, and equipment
  • We will perform the work in a professional, competent, and workmanlike manner


3. Weather & Delays Beyond Our Control

Many of our services are weather dependent. We will make every reasonable effort to complete the work as scheduled. Delays caused by weather, extreme temperatures, rain, high humidity, or other conditions beyond our reasonable control do not constitute a breach of contract. We will communicate with you and reschedule as soon as conditions allow.


4. Payment Terms

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book / schedule your project → This deposit secures your spot and covers our preparation costs.
  • Upon starting your project another 25% payment may be required. For larger projects the remaining 50% may be split into milestones.
  • The remaining 25% balance is due within 7 days of project completion unless other arrangements have been made in writing
  • Accepted payment methods: • Credit card (via secure online Square link) • E-transfer (info@revivedhomesolutions.ca – include name + invoice #) • Cash or cheque (by prior arrangement) • On-site debit/credit (we can bring the machine)


5. Important Client Responsibilities & Limitations

The Client must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • Move (or have moved) any items that may be damaged or that we cannot reasonably be expected to move (hot tubs, heavy planters, concrete steps, large furniture, etc.)


We are NOT responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage, defects, rot, cracks, poor previous workmanship, or low-quality materials
  • Damage to landscaping, plants, or property that occurs despite reasonable care
  • Damage to items the Client was asked to move but did not move
  • Variations in final appearance caused by the original condition of the surface
  • Results that are less than perfect when working on heavily worn, damaged, or poorly maintained surfaces


6. Warranty

We provide a 1 Year Workmanship Warranty on our installation, application, and labour. This warranty covers only defects directly caused by our workmanship. It does NOT cover:

  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by the Client, weather, or third parties
  • Issues caused by underlying surface problems (rot, cracks, poor previous work, etc.)


7. Cancellation & Deposit Policy

  • We require at least 30 days written notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking
  • If less than 30 days notice is given → the deposit is forfeited (non-refundable)
  • Deposits paid more than 30 days before the start date may be refunded at our discretion (minus any costs already incurred)


8. Acceptance of Work

Once the Client has inspected the completed work and has not raised any concerns within 7 days of completion, the work will be deemed accepted.


9. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the specific quote / proposal / invoice, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No other promises, verbal agreements, or representations are binding unless made in writing and signed by both parties.


10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.


How to Accept These Terms

By doing any of the following, you accept these terms:

  • Paying the deposit
  • Signing / initialing the quote or contract
  • Electronically agreeing (typing name/initials)
  • Allowing work to begin
